Chris was discussing a passage of Scripture with me about unbelievers vs. believers.
Aidan said, "I'm a believer, you're a believer (pointing at Chris). Evan is a believer...?"
I replied, "I'm not sure if Evan is a believer or not, Aidan."
Evan pipes up and says, "I asked Jesus in my heart!"
We all just looked at him! First off, he's four years old, and his understanding of the term believer was phenomenal, and secondly, Evan has made it clear that he has NOT asked Jesus in his heart. He has said as much on many occasions.
Chris asked him when it happened, and Evan said, "I did it quietly when we were in the car yesterday."
(yesterday, to Evan, means any day before today... LOL)
Chris asked, "where were we at?"
Evan said, "At Walmart"
That was the day that Chris had talked to Evan about salvation and Aidan had told Evan how he got saved. :) Evan apparently thought about everything, and asked Jesus into his heart secretly.
Now when he talks about it he says that it was a secret, and that's why he didn't tell anyone before. LOL
So sweet! :)

Aidan, early May 2010
Aidan told Chris, "We don't need perfect parents, we just need you guys."
Feel the love! BAHAHAHA
Feel the love! BAHAHAHA
Aidan, May 2010
Aidan runs into the house...
"Mom! Dad! I accidentally hit Ashton in the face, and he ran home, and he said he's never going to play with me again for 80, 60, 100 years!....
"But he'll be dead by then."
And he runs back outside.
We were ROFL!
